ZTE qNCR Network-Controlled Repeater Commercial Deployment Solves Weak Coverage and Interference Problems (2025-03-24)
Main Technology Changes:
Launched the Network Controlled Repeater (NCR),
which, through intelligent interference suppression and closed-loop power control, limits interference to the donor base station to **<0.3dB**;
supports user-level visual management, can identify users covered by the repeater
and report KPIs, achieving unified operation and maintenance with the main network.
Deployment Verification:
Pilot in Handan, Hebei by China Unicom, with 5G speeds in elevators/underground parking
reaching 175.33 Mbps and 4G at 63.77 Mbps,
completely solving the pain point of traditional repeaters
"filling blind spots but interfering with the network".
